Dance Fees

2022-2023

£9.00 one off non-refundable registration fee for all new pupils

5% discount for siblings or 5% discount for pupils who do more than 1 class per week (**Not applicable to online courses.)

**Exam fees, festivals, showcases and additional dance activities are budgeted on numbers and based on uptake. Your child will be invoiced separately for additional activities.

All classes are VAT inclusive, our registered VAT number is 103 3322 76. The bank details to pay online are found on your child’s invoice. All payments made by cheque are subject to a £1.50 surcharge. Outstanding fees and mid-term class changes carry a £15.00 administration fee.

** Should any monies remain outstanding on your account at the end of the academic year/July an additional administration charge of £25.00 will be added. **The accounts department will charge accordingly for any additional administration throughout the year where applicable.

Refunds and Withdrawals

Weekly timetabled classes: Notice should be given by the deadline outlined on your confirmation of class schedule if your child no longer wishes to participate in the class the following term. Should notification be received after the deadline date a half term’s fees will be applied to your account.

Workshops/Masterclasses: Refunds will only be issued if adequate notice is served as outlined below.

1. 7-10 days-notice. If your child’s place can be filled a 90% refund will be given. A 10% handling charge will be deducted for administration.

2. Less than 7 days-notice; No refund will be given.

Show Reel; Refunds will be given at the discretion of the company based on the individual extenuating circumstances.

Private Coaching; 48 hours-notice is required should you need to cancel your child’s coaching session.

COVID – 19 Related Closures/Withdrawals; If Dancestars has to close a site or postpone classes due to a COVID-19 related issue then credits will be raised for any classes postponed. Dancestars will make available ‘Make-Up’ sessions for pupils who have a COVID-19 related issue outside of Dancestars, but no credits/refunds will be raised.

Examinations

Compulsory Examination Coaching will be charged at standard rate where courses/classes are made available to pupils.

Pupils who are unable to attend the course made available to them to meet the requirements of the compulsory examination coaching and/or pupils who require one to one or additional private coaching will be charged at Private Coaching Rate.

Examination costs or coaching refunds will only be given with a doctor’s note or evidence of a medical condition affecting the child’s ability to take the assessment.

Examinations fees are paid to the RAD or ISTD upon application and refunds are at the discretion of the organisation.
